The New screen lets you create a new package consisting of a note but no attached files. You can address it to users in your MOVEit address book and email addresses that you enter manually.

You might have the option to send the note securely. This means that you transfer the note in MOVEit only, by keeping it out of the emailed "New Package Notification".

As a temporary user, you cannot add files or images from this device.

• To send a new package with a note:
  1. Tap Packages.
  2. Tap the New button. This opens the New screen.
  3. Tap the To: field to manually enter one or more email addresses, or tap to choose recipients from your local Contacts.
  4. Tapping the Cc/Bcc field opens Cc: and Bcc: fields. Optionally enter or choose recipients for these fields.
  5. In Subject: enter text (always required in the mobile web).
  6. In Note... enter the text of your note.
  7. Tap Options to view and select Secure the note (if available).
  8. Optionally tap Save to save a draft of the email and exit the New screen.
  9. Tap Send.

Specify recipients

You can address a package to users in your MOVEit address book. You can also manually enter email addresses.

• To specify recipients:
  1. Tap to choose recipients from Contacts from MOVEit (your MOVEit address book).
  2. Tap the To: field (left side of row) to manually enter one or more email addresses.
  3. Tapping the Cc/Bcc field opens Cc: and Bcc: fields.

     Tap either row to display the in that field.

     Tap each field (left side of row) to manually enter one or more email addresses.

Selecting contacts from MOVEit

In the New screen, tapping and Contacts from MOVEit opens the Addresses screen. Checkboxes are to the left of names.

• To select contacts:
  1. Tap one or more names to select.
  2. When done selecting, tap Add.

     You are returned to the New screen, where the names are added to the selected field.

     (To cancel adding names in the Addresses screen, tap New to return back to the New screen.)

Choose options for sending

• To use send options:
  1. In the New screen, tap Options, if it is available.
  2. In the pop-up, which options are displayed depends on how your organization is configured.
  3. Optionally select Secure the note to have the text you enter in the Note... field transferred by MOVEit only (and not included in the new package notification email).
  4. Optionally select Delivery receipts to have delivery receipts sent to you when receipients open the package.
  5. Optionally select Prevent reply all (which prevents replies from being addressed to all of your recipients and you).

     If you do, you additionally have the option to Prevent all replies (which prevents replies to anyone, including you).

  6. Tap OK.

Save draft

You can save a package in the Drafts mailbox on the MOVEit server. You can access the draft later to complete and send.

Note: You cannot save as a template from mobile. However, you can go to Templates and access a template to complete and send.

The draft will include the subject (required) and any recipients, note, and attached files.

• To save a draft package:
  1. In the New screen, enter text in the Subject: field (required).
  2. Tap Save.

When you are ready to finish and send the package, you can go to Mailboxes to access the draft.

Note: When you compose a package, the note portion will be saved automatically on the server at 5 minute intervals to help prevent loss of work. But any attached files will not be included in the automatically saved drafts.
