Sign Out

You can be signed out for any of the following reasons:

• You clicked SIGN OUT at the top of the page.
• You have done nothing in MOVEit Transfer for the last n minutes (default is 20 minutes). —You were signed out automatically for security reasons.
• An administrator terminated your session.
• You signed off from your Single Signon account. If your organization is set up to use SAML Single Signon, when you sign off from your corporate or network account, you might also be signed off from MOVEit.

  In most instances, you are returned to the Sign On page. If you sign on again, you are usually returned to the page you were viewing before you signed out. Clicking the BACK button on your browser usually does not return you to MOVEit.

Signing out from a SAML Single Signon Session

If you are using Single Signon, and you sign out of MOVEit, you will be asked if you also want to sign out of your Identity Provider session.

• Yes signs you out of your MOVEit session and other applications to which your Single Signon provides access. You are returned to the MOVEit Single Signon page. Enter your username and password again.

  If your organization has multiple identity providers, you are prompted to choose one. To avoid this prompt, check the Remember selection option on the Sign On page.

• No signs you out of the MOVEit session only. You are returned to the Single Signon page. To sign on to MOVEit again, you do not need to enter your username and password, because you are still authenticated through the identity provider.
• Cancel returns you to your MOVEit home page.
