Use these instructions as you run the MOVEit Installer:
"C:Users\Administrator\Desktop\MOVEit_Install.exe"
Note: To run the installation offline, use the command prompt with the Offline option, for example "C:Users\Administrator\Desktop\MOVEit_Install.exe" /Offline
From here, you can alternately choose to activate your MOVEit installation using a license file which can be retrieved from the My Products section of the Customer Portal, or by using the offline activation process detailed here. This option is useful if your MOVEit server is not connected to the Internet.
Note: MOVEit Mobile Server was deprecated for the 2020 release. The latest mobile client that you install from app stores ("MOVEit Mobile") only needs MOVEit Transfer 2019.2 or later. For more information, see the Release Notes.
Click Next to proceed.
If you selected Custom when beginning this installation, proceed to the next step. If you selected Express installation, proceed directly to step 10.
Important! Your application server (your MOVEit Transfer Server) and database need to be configured for the same time zone. Otherwise, security features like multi-factor authentication for sign-on as well as secure connection protocols used between the services will not function.
You can reveal the configured time zone to users using Org-level controls (SETTINGS -> Display -> Regulatory Compliance -> "GMT" timezone offset statement). See the MOVEit Transfer Administrator Guide for details.
MOVEit recommends using the default names provided for your databases. If you choose to use non-standard database names, please do so during product installation as modifying them after installation is complete could cause potential issues with network monitoring.
Do not choose the Azure-only encryption mode in 2019.x if you plan to point to an existing Azure Blob store used from a 2019.0 MOVEit Transfer Server. This can result in an operating environment where two different encryption schemes are in use for your file store. Mixed encryption schemes are not specifically supported by MOVEit Transfer.

Note: If you choose to encrypt at-rest files with MOVEit as well as Azure there is a performance trade-off (added-encryption versus added performance). Azure Blobs are encrypted at the Azure Storage Service level. Opting to retain the MOVEit Transfer encryption for your system filestore (layered encryption), can require more processing power during peak periods (or bigger Azure node) for the MOVEit Transfer Server to lessen any performance impact or perceived latency when users read or transfer files.
Note: The SysAdmin password can be modified following installation. However, the Windows Service user account and root key credentials cannot. Ensure the credentials you have entered in this dialog are correct before proceeding.
Note: Email notifications will be sent using this URL regardless of the server's internal hostname or IP address.
Click Copy Credentials to generate a text file with this information for your reference following installation. This is your only opportunity to generate a copy of this important information.
(The MOVEit Transfer Configuration program is a Windows application used to configure global settings from the local console.)
Please note, when the installation program closes, the Email Relay Settings dialog is displayed. This dialog gives you the option to perform an email relay test using a specified email address prior to launching MOVEit for the first time. The MIDMZcheck system check utility also runs automatically after installation is complete to ensure everything has been installed correctly.
