VM CPU Utilization
VM CPU Utilization report reveals processor load and idle time for one or more virtual hosts. These reports help you to visualize the demand for processing resources, identify peak periods, and troubleshoot CPU exhaustion.
- . Device name/CPU type (CPU index in parenthesis).
- . Percent utilized of CPUs allocated at time of measurement.
- . Highest utilization observed within last hour.
- . Average utilization for last hour.
- . Date and time group of last poll.
Generate a report

Choose one or more host devices you want to see VM CPU Utilization measurements for.
Use the Select Device dialog for one of the following:

Filter and pick by column
Click a report heading

- Trend Lines. Present data with a smoothed average to show trend.

: Trend lines represent a moving average that can compared to peak and sub peak intervals to demonstrate periods of burstiness, latency, and interruption.
: This report only returns VM CPU Utilization metrics for devices that already have the appropriate WMI or SNMP credentials. For more information, see Using Credentials.
