The Wireless Performance Dashboard allows you to monitor the performance of lightweight access points, wireless LAN controllers, and wireless autonomous access points as well as wireless rogues, which WhatsUp Gold defines as devices detected due to geographic proximity to an access point but unknown to the network and should be investigated to determine potential risk.
This dashboard contains three views:
As is the case with all dashboards in WhatsUp Gold, you have the ability to add reports to these views and can create additional views on the dashboard to customize WhatsUp Gold wireless device monitoring to fit your needs. For more information, see Using Built in and Custom Dashboards.
Please note, your ability to manage wireless infrastructure devices is determined by your user rights. To view data on this dashboard, you must have the Access Wireless user right enabled. For the ability to actively manage wireless infrastructure devices as well as include, exclude, or manage rogues, the Configure Wireless option must be selected as well.
