How to get here

Use this dialog to add or edit a Context menu (custom menu items) for the device role you are defining. Context menus are custom menu items that appear when you right-click a device. You can associate a context menu item with a custom command, for example start a program .exe. This lets you access applications that you want to associate with each device; as an example, you can use the command http://%Device.Address/ to browse to the device using the WhatsUp Gold percent variable. For more information about percent variables, see the percent variables table.

When you select the new context menu item, the associated command is launched and the command arguments run.

Select one of the following options to manage the Role Editor Context Menu Items:

• Add. Click to create a new Context menu.
• Edit. Click to change an existing Context menu.
• Remove. Click to delete a Context menu.
