Allow Web Transfer Client MFA

Use of the extra-verification step provided by multi-factor authentication should be measured against the level of access for a specific user class and the business value of the resources managed by WS_FTP Server on the Web Transfer Client.

To enable the full set of administrator controls, on the Multi-Factor Authentication page click Allow Multi-Factor Authentication for all users in this organization.

Enabling MFA ensures that all Web Transfer Client users can optionally use multi-factor authentication to sign in. You can also require multi-factor authentication by each registered user class and exempt users individually.

Note: It is best practice to notify users of any security policies that alter the sequence of steps or information needed at sign on before you apply these controls.
