Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-factor authentication protects WS_FTP Server accounts when accessed from the Web Transfer Client from unverified users when a user's account password is lost, stolen, or compromised. To verify user identity, WS_FTP Server gives users private access to a uniquely-generated verification code made available mobile app. This additional verification step ensures user sign in is genuine.

To enable multi-factor authentication, click Home, and select Multi-Factor Authentication in the Other Settings list, or select Multi-Factor Authentication from the Host drop-down list.

For information about multi-factor authentication and Web Transfer Client, see Web Transfer Multi-Factor Authentication.
