Web Messaging Lite Help allows users with low-bandwidth (dial-up) capability to access their mail quicker. To allow this capability, framesets, icons, and certain processes were removed to allow for faster load in a low-bandwidth environment. Users can log into Web Messaging Lite Help from any computer with a supported browser, and manage email without installing email client software.
The Web Messaging Lite has limited capability, and was not designed with all the advanced options and features that the regular web client offers.
Web Messaging Lite Help was designed for low-bandwidth capability. To keep the Help light certain processes were removed, such as the Index and Search features. To access these features login to the regular web client and click Help.
Web Messaging Lite directly accesses the server to manage mail on the server, no longer requiring IMAP services to be running. You can access the Web Messaging Lite login page by entering the IMail Server address in the browser address field.
Important. You may need to change network firewall settings to make a specified port available for Web Messaging Lite access.
