Change a User's Password

Note: If you change a user's password while that user is signed in, the changes take effect after the user signs out and signs in again.

1. Sign in to Ipswitch Analytics as an Admin or System Administrator.
2. Open the USERS module.
3. Click the username you want to edit. The Edit user dialog box opens.
4. Beneath Password,
   • Click Change to create a new password. In the dialog box that appears, enter a New password and Confirmation, then click Save.

   – or –

   • Click Generate to have the system suggest a new password. A new password appears in the Password box. You can click Generate multiple times to regenerate the password.
5. When you are satisfied with your changes, click Save.
