Analytics Server extensively accesses data stored on disk to perform data ingestion, reporting and analysis. A good performance from the disk subsystem is crucial to the overall health of the application.

While the documented minimum disk performance must be met, investing in a better disk subsystem would further improve the data throughput and application responsiveness.
