To tune the disk performance for Analytics Server, the effort should be focused on improving Input/Output Operations per Second (IOPS).

The following are the main factors that can impact IOPS:

• Multidisk Arrays
• Average IOPS per drive
• RAID Factor
• Read and Write Workload
