Public Contacts List Dialog

The Public Contacts List page is used to manage a published directory of IM users. This information is listed in the IM Client's primary (or Public Contacts List) directory.

• New is clicked to add a user to the Public Contacts List.
• Edit is clicked to alter existing information on a selected user.
• Delete is clicked to remove a selected user from the Public Contacts List.

Show External Authentication Database Users in Public Contacts. (By default, not checked) This check box is functional only for Active Directory, Ipswitch IMail Server, or LDAP as your user authentication database. If enabled, all users from that database will appear in the Public Contacts folder.

Note: This feature does not work for external databases.
