Hyper-V Virtual Machine Disk Activity

Hyper-V Virtual Machine Disk Activity provides disk activity metrics for Hyper-V virtual machines. It is a core Virtual Monitoring performance monitor that cannot be removed from the Monitors Library.

1. Configure the following fields from the Device Properties view.
   • Name. Monitor instance name.
   • Description. Optional description.
   • Collection interval. Specify polling frequency (minutes).
2. Click OK to save the monitor settings for this device.
3. For charts and table data this monitor makes possible, check the Hyper-V Virtual Machine Disk Activity report.
