Redfish

The Redfish credential is used to gather hardware-related data from a device for the purposes of notifying users about potential issues with server hardware health. This includes but is not limited to physical disk failure, temperature, memory failure, power supplies failure, and fan failure.

Important: Hardware devices discovered and identified by WhatsUp Gold using the Redfish credential type are automatically assigned monitors based upon the data they are able to provide. Please note, that these monitors may neither be configured/edited by the user, nor can they be set up as Critical.

Important: Please note, the credentials and connection settings entered in the fields described previously are those used to access the device, NOT the operating system running on the server.
