Full Context Messaging

If one or more conversation participants logs off or closes the client's Conversation Window, earlier portions of the conversation are not lost.

In fact, Ipswitch Instant Messaging allows you to keep the IM conversation going for as long as needed. As long, that is, as some part of the conversation is stored on the Ipswitch Instant Messaging Server in an offline message or kept active on another user's desktop, the entire conversation, in full, can become active and be forwarded to all conversation participants.

Things to keep in mind

• If a user is included or added to a conversation (at any point during an ongoing conversation) he or she will be provided full access to the entire conversation from the first line to the last; not just the conversation from the point when they joined or were added to the conversation.  
• Logging off will not prevent you from being included in a reactivated conversation. You will receive the continued conversation through an offline message. 
• As shown below, if you want to remove yourself from a continued conversation, simply select Goodbye/Leave Conversation from the Conversation Window. 

Note: Full Context Messaging is possible only if you have enabled the server to log conversations on the General (Settings) page.
