Cancel Available Messages

You can cancel Available mailbox messages only when you have the Perform Message Action right on the mailbox location where the message resides.

  1. Select the Available mailbox tab to display messages that have not been downloaded yet.

    Note: If you want to cancel an available message in a different mailbox, you must switch mailboxes first and have proper security rights to that mailbox.

  2. Check the box next to the message you want to cancel, or check the box next to Message ID in the column header to cancel all messages currently visible on the list.

    Search for the message if you cannot find it.

  3. Click Cancel.

  4. When the dialog box appears asking if you are sure you want to cancel the message, click OK.

    The message cancels, and you see Canceled message successful at the top of the screen.

    The canceled message is removed from the list of Available messages and placed under the Canceled tab.

    Tip: To view canceled messages in a mailbox, click Canceled.
