Ipswitch Analytics Setup and Configuration Script for MS Exchange 2013

The Ipswitch Analytics 2.1 distribution contains a utility Windows powershell script to help with the Ipswitch Analytics Exchange Support setup and configuration. It is an interactive script and walks you through the configuration with a series of prompts.

Note: If you prefer to perform the steps manually instead of using the script, see Manual Setup and Configuration of Exchange Support.

• Before you run the script, do the following:
  • Meet the Prerequisites.
  • Create the Exchange Mailbox Database for Ipswitch Analytics.
  • The script must be local on the system.

    Recommended: set your system's Windows Power Shell script execution policy to RemoteSigned.

    • Check the current execution policy with the Get-ExecutionPolicy cmdlet.
    • If necessary, use the Set-ExecutionPolicy to change the execution policy.
• To run the script:
  1. Open the Exchange Management Shell as Administrator.
  2. Execute the ipswitch_analytics_2_1_exchange2013.ps1 script provided in the distribution.
  3. Provide the information requested by the prompts.

     Numbers in the figure point out some specific prompts. See the table that follows the figure for more information.
