Manual Setup and Configuration of Exchange Support

If you do not want to use the Ipswitch Analytics Setup and Configuration Script for MS Exchange 2013, you can perform a manual configuration.

Before you perform the manual configuration, you must have already done the following:

• Met the Prerequisites.
• Created the Exchange Mailbox Database.

Manual Configuration Tasks

To manually set up and configure MS Exchange for Ipswitch Analytics, do the following tasks in the order listed.

• Configure the Exchange Mailbox Database.
• Create the Ipswitch Analytics Mailbox Retention Policy.
• Create the Ipswitch Analytics Throttling Policy for IMAP Throttling Relief.
• Create the Ipswitch Analytics Exchange Mailbox.
• Create the Exchange Transport Rule.

After you finish the above tasks, continue with Configure Exchange Transport Rule Conditions.
