Overview
Microsoft® Exchange Support for Ipswitch Analytics 2017 relies on configuration and mechanisms provided by Microsoft Exchange to identify and collect data about file transfers that are based on email attachments. Metadata about these file transfers is pulled down by the Ipswitch Analytics Exchange Agent using an IMAPS connection and submitted to the Ipswitch Analytics Server. After the metadata is in the Analytics Server, it is available when creating Transfer reports.
Setting Up and Configuring Ipswitch Analytics for MS Exchange
Important: Before you begin, you must have a Microsoft Exchange server installed, up and running. The machine that hosts the Exchange server must be online and network accessible.
