Ipswitch Analytics includes the following modules. User roles control access to each module.
Monitor The Monitor is a colorful chart that shows a high-level summary activity on your MOVEit server(s) for the past 72 hours, updating every 60 seconds to refresh with new data. Charted performance metrics include successful and failed uploads, downloads, tasks, and transfer size. A dashboard also shows the reporting status of all of Ipswitch Analytics Agents that collect data from your MOVEit database(s). Use the Monitor to track current server usage and status, detect short-term transfer and processing trends, discover and manage system issues as they arise, diagnose system health, and isolate failures. The Monitor will show you timely and actionable information for real-time response to system issues so you can focus quickly on trouble spots to catch and respond to problems before they get out of hand.
Library: The Library tab contains all saved reports. It will be empty initially. A report is a template that has been populated with actual data captured from one or more MOVEit server(s) over a specific time range. Reports can show a high-level summary of data, or details of individual transactions. The contents of a report are static and unalterable; a report represents a snapshot in time of activity on your MOVEit system(s). You cannot change the data fields that display in a report, or the MOVEit source included in the data set, but users with sufficient role privileges may edit a report's properties to share it with other users and groups. You can also export a report as a PDF or CSV file from the Library. Users with the role of Creator (or higher) can add a report to the Library by either running a template and saving the resulting report to the Library, or by creating a schedule to deliver the report automatically to the Library.
Templates: A template describes the content and layout of a report, but does not include any actual data. Ipswitch Analytics includes pre-configured stock templates that cover many commonly required reporting areas. You can also use the Template Editor to create custom templates from scratch that contain the exact fields, field placement, and Server/Org/User filters that you require. Run a report to populate a template with up-to-the-minute data from your MOVEit system(s), then optionally save the report to the Library for later viewing, or export it to PDF or CSV.
Schedule: Create a schedule to automate the creation and delivery of reports to the Library, to specific Ipswitch Analytics users and groups, or to email recipients. Set a schedule to occur one time, or on a recurring basis.
Users The Users module is where administrators add and manage Ipswitch Analytics users and user groups.
