Introduction

The Ipswitch Analytics Administrator Guide gives a system-level view of Ipswitch Analytics, and includes post-installation configuration and management tasks. Administrators can learn how Ipswitch Analytics works, what security features are in place, and how to configure the Ipswitch Analytics Server, manage Ipswitch Analytics users, change system-wide Ipswitch Analytics settings, and perform audit and logging tasks.

It contains the following sections:

Introduction: Gives an overview of the Ipswitch Analytics product, a description of available modules, a list of system requirements, suggests common use cases and shows you where to get help.

How Ipswitch Analytics Works: Provides a detailed description of how the Ipswitch Analytics Server and Agents work together within your MOVEit system, including possible installation configurations, how Ipswitch Analytics handles time zones and the security features in place within Ipswitch Analytics.

Install, Modify and Remove: Includes system requirements and steps to install, modify, or remove Ipswitch Analytics.

Manage: Gives an overview of access control options. Shows you how to create and manage users, user groups, and rulesets and how to configure email notifications, the global password policy and licensing. This section also describes how you can manage reports, including how the ability to create reports is controlled, how to control access to MOVEit sources during report creation, and who can view and manage Library reports. The Troubleshoot section can help you solve problems you might encounter.
