Configuration Management Action

This action triggers WhatsUp Gold to run a script and task previously configured in the Configuration Management Task Script and Task libraries, respectively, for the purpose of creating a new action or configuring an existing action in the WhatsUp Gold Actions Library.

Configure the following:

• Name. Enter a unique name for the action. This name displays in the Actions Library.
• Description. Enter a short description about the action. This description displays next to the action in the Actions Library.
• Run script. Select the script to run from the list provided. You can also click the library icon () to access the Configuration Management Task Script Library and create a new script
• Run task. Select the task to run from the list provided. You can also click the library icon () to access the Configuration Management Task Library and create a new task.

Enable Only run the task on the device that triggered the action to limit the action as described, if needed.
